The gray fox lives throughout the United States,
The gray fox is sometimes called the tree fox. The reason why it is called the tree fox is because of its sharp claws. The sharp claws help it protect itself from predators, but usually it uses its claws to protect it's nest from animals that want to steal its pups.
The gray fox is related to the red fox as well as the other foxes like the arctic fox and the kit fox. It is heard that the gray fox is smarter or brilliant than the red fox, you could say that it is more crafty.
