Weather
Do you
know where weather happens ?
Weather
forms in the atmosphere, because
of the
angles of the suns rays hitting the
atmosphere's
layers.
Weather
is a combination and is caused
by air
pressure, rain, wind, and temperature.
The
weather around the earth is the condition
of the
atomosphere. The weather around us is not
always
perfect. It may be hot or freezing air
outside.
There might also be strong or breezy
winds.
Temperature
The weather around us is not
always perfect.
It could be hot or freezing
and there may be strong or light
wind. When the sun's rays hit
the earth,
the part of the earth the rays
are hitting is hot
and the further you go away
from the rays
the colder it gets. That is
called temperature.
Wind and Rain
Air moving at a certain speed
is called wind.
When wind is at a soft movement
it is also
known as a breeze. If wind
gets to a certain
point it can bend tree branches.
Clouds are made up of water
vapor. When
water dries up it turns into
vapor and is lifted
up to the sky by warm air.
Water vapor is hot and when
it cools down,
it turns into drops of water.
Clouds gather
drops of water and store them
at the bottom
of the cloud. When the drops
at the bottom of
the cloud get heavy, they drop
from the clouds
and that is what causes rain.
Air Pressure
Air pressure is when the sun
hits the ground
and the warm air rises. That's
why it is always windy
at the beach. Air pressure
is measured by
a tool called a barometer.
A barometer
measures air pressure. There
are two types
of air pressure meters; they're
called
mercury barometers and aneriod
barometers.
